Typography
1. the design, theory, and art of creating characters for printing.
2. the design and selection of printed matter. 3. the craft or business of composing type.

One of the greatest examples of this is a font we like to call. Helvetica. Much easier to say than its original name of Neue Haas Grotesk. It was invented in Switzerland in 1957 by a swiss typeface designer named Max Miedinger. Many have attempted to improve upon the original design, and create new typefaces that would have the same impact on our world today. However, most designers agree that Helvetica is already perfect the way it is. It can be seen all over the world. You may not even realize it, but typography is probably surrounding you right now.
Below are a some examples of Helvetica that we all recognize.
